If I have a relative who was born within the past 100 years, how do I find out who their nearest living relative is? As many of you know, Family Search is not able to tell me.

It would appear that your are asking the 'Question' in relation the "Temple" Work ... regarding "Permission Required".

    .

IF, such is the case; THEN, ...

    .

IF, one CANNOT find the nearest "Living" Relative(s), for those who fall within the 110 Year Rule; THEN, one CANNOT "Request" to "Reserve"; and, thus, cannot do, the Work.

    .

It is as simple as that ...

    Such is life ...

well I guess you would ask the family who it is who is the closest relative . . .

but if that isnt one of your options - - then I guess you just have to wait . . .

the general assumption generally is . . if you are doing the work. . then you would be part of the close general family and would know - or would at least have contact with someone who would know.
