I am pulling hair out of mu skull with this... Spent on the phone with Support an, and still cannot see it. It is supposed to be a link underneath four top right corner icons titled "HELP OTHERS".
I cannot see it. I use the Latest Firefox browser, Win10

I have cleared Cache and cookies. Nothing. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

I think the helper functions are only available to LDS members. I've certainly never seen anything beyond the mysterious "helper number" in Settings - Account.

As 'Julie' has already correctly proffered ...

    .

The "Help Others" function/facility/feature is ONLY available (and, hence, 'see-able'/viewable) to Users/Patrons who a Members of the Church (ie. it is NOT available to non-member Users/Patrons).

    .

If you can access this, here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':

    .

How do I use the Help Others link in Family Tree?

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-use-the-help-others-link-in-family-tree

    .

    Where it states:

    Quote

    ------------------

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can use the Help Others link to view another person's family history information in Family Tree.

    ------------------

    .

This matter has previously been discussed in the, "Older"; and, more well established, 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum.

    .

Unfortunately, there has been no change is this regard.

    .

I know that this does not help, if you are a non-member User/Patron.

    .

ps: Perhaps, it is or has been 'considered', to enable non-member User/Patrons to have access to/use the "Help Others" function/facility/feature; and, is in the list of, 'to be done'; but, is subject to, the many competing priorities in "Family Tree" (and, the Other parts of) 'FamilySearch'; and, the limited resources available to 'FamilySearch'.

I believe that RootsMagic can directly download records from the FamilySearch FamilyTree without the need for GEDCOM files

(which is better anyway since some things don't copy very well via GEDCOM files)
