For the the Couple, the Father and (for all 'intents and purposes') the OTHER Mother, just DO NOT add a "Marriage" Event, if there was none.
.
Either, leave the "Relationship" Event as "Bank" (ie. NOTHING); or, use, "Common Law Marriage" or "Lived Together", if they were appropriate.
.
And, make sure that the OTHER Mother's "Relationship to Child" is appropriate ... say, either, 'Guardianship'; or, 'Step'; as, there is NO 'Other'; as, the Child would already have a Biological Mother with such a "Relationship to Child".
.
Just DO NOT forget to add, "Reason Statements"; and, "Notes", where appropriate, to cover particular; and, unusual situations/circumstances/eventualities.
.
Just my thoughts ...

ps: Sometimes you have to think 'outside the square', nothing is set in 'concrete'; and, even "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' cannot cover all situations/circumstances/eventualities.
