That's quite recent, so it is unlikely that you will find an other decedent here. The best approach for this period (in my experience) is to ask around in the family, maybe one of their children is still alive.
Also, most records after 1900 are not (easily) available due to concerns for privacy.
What can help, is to look where the names are most common. For the Netherlands you can use the site https://www.cbgfamilienamen.nl/nfb/.
The name Kerkhove is mostly used in Zeeland and the western part of Belgium (see https://familienaam.be/). Unfortunately, marriages mostly happen in the town of the bride.

Thank you for the above suggestions. I will give it a go. I did have a quick look at marriages in Belgium but will look again. Regards Peggy.

Marriages are public after 75 years in the Netherlands and Belgium. But many post-1932 marriages from the Netherlands are not online or must be browsed manually on the FamilySearch Catalog. Post-1915 Belgian records can be only be accessed by writing to the municipality where the event occurred (see: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Belgium_Civil_Registration)
I did a quick search on OpenArch (https://www.openarch.nl/) for this couple but found nothing.

Many thanks for that.

Are you looking in the South? Many people went south when they opened the Alleghani mountains only to go to Chicago and many places, N.Y. where they could find better opportunities.
Hope it helps.

This family lived in the Netherlands, not the United States.

Thanks Joann, but I know that it was either in Holland or Belgium, more than likely Holland. . I think now that because of privacy laws that it may not be public yet. I'll keep trying tho! Thanks again.
