Yes, his name is Adam Lewis. Sorry for the typo. He was born 22 Feb. 1827. His obituary states born in Nassau, Germany. He came to US in 1851. Married Elizabeth Jane Hahn April 21, 1859. He had 11 children, 1 died infancy, My grandfather was William Lewis, also Adelia, Cordelia, Anna May, Eliza Jane, Mary, Ella Ellen. He died June 8, 1906 in Highland, Kansas. He was confirmed in Roman Catholic Church in Germany. In America he was a Christian though not member. His Obit reads He came to US in 1851 when 21 yrs of age spending 3 yrs in Tx, From there he came to Holt County, Mo where he remained 2 yrs being married to Elizabeth Hahn 1859. They lived near Highland Station, Ks since 1870.
