Help with Polish name

i need help reading ships manifest. I’ve under lined the section in read. Can someone make out what it says. There’s a name Jan .......
and location where he is staying. Can’t quite make it out. Looks like it says step brother before Jan.

I agree with "stepbrother" before Jan's name. I just can't make out Jan's surname and the download of your document only shows a small portion of the manifest. Sometimes you can figure out the surnames by looking at the entire page of the ship's manifest and seeing if he (the person who filled out the manifest) also wrote that first capital letter elsewhere--somewhere where it is written more clearly. It may help with the entire surname. However, the place Jan resides, to me, looks like Meriden, CT (written as Conn for Connecticut). Good luck!

Thanks. I agree it looks like Meridian, Connecticut. Really need the person he stayed with surname. Here is a link to the page on Ellis Island ships manifest. Still hard to read.
Pawel Kurdzo is passenger. Trying to find out who he stayed with since he was only 16yr. Maybe you can see more.
