Flag Day - June 14
June 14 is Flag Day. It is a day that some celebrate and others who have not found what they are looking for in this Nation do not celebrate. Some people stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and others choose not to. From its beginning days this Nation has used the flag as a symbol of our Country.
The design of the flag has changed over the years, but it is something that we should ponder about its meaning and significance to us individually. As the years have progressed, the causes which have presented themselves have been granted to us are a result of the freedom that we enjoy. That freedom has come because of the sacrifices and dreams of past and present generations. The Flag is a symbol of those who have made and are making sacrifices and dreaming for a better Nation. June 14 is Flag Day, long shall it wave.

Thank you @Steve Walker16 for your post😊 I would just like to say that firstly, Ive always considered myself to be a very patriotic person (I’m ashamed at my lack of historical knowledge about many things but I’m working on it 😂) witht that said, I have learned more about our country and 🇺🇸 over the past few years while researching my family history... when years ago I i love you admit I didn’t care to learn anything (other than what I can remember learning while growing up) about our history, I hated history .... but during my research I have learned so much and now I’m addicted to learning about our history as a nation and I am much more grateful and appreciative of the sacrifices our ancestors made, and the sacrifices our men and women still make today to preserve our rights and our freedoms! God Bless America‼️
