    .

Are you referring to a "Sub-Group" within a Ward/Branch 'Indexing' "Group".

    .

There does not seem to be any implied limit (in the following "Knowledge Article" in "FamilySearch") on the number of "Sub-Groups" that an "Administrator" of a Ward/Branch 'Indexing' "Group" can create ...

    .

Here is a "Knowledge Article" in "FamilySearch"

    .

How do I create an indexing subgroup?

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/salesforce/viewArticle?urlname=Web-Indexing--Create-a-sub-group&lang=en

    .

    Where is states"

    Quote

    ----------

An indexing group administrator can create subgroups for his or her group.

    ----------

    .

But, NO limit on the number of "Sub-Groups" ...

    .

    Prior to that ...

    .

How do I create an indexing group?

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/salesforce/viewArticle?urlname=Browser-Based-Program-Creating-an-indexing-group&lang=en_US

    .

    Where it states:

    Quote

    ----------

Anyone can create a group, but only the administrator of the home group can create subgroups in the home group.

    ----------

    .

If not "Indexing", where are you making these "Sub-Groups"?

'Yes', such can be easy to miss/overlook; especially, if there is, either, NO "Error Message"; or, the "Error Message" is obscure.

    .

    Been there, done that ...

Took ages to actually work out what was going on/wrong ...

    .

That is a good one to 'notch-up' for next time ...
