How to check if a profile is genuine or fake?

It looks like this profile is fake/false - No records, lists date of death as 1989, but this person has made changes in 2022. Also - mother is listed as dead in same year as son. No records for any verification are listed.

You have a name and a death year and a mother's name and death year. Fairly recent years as well. First thing I would do is throw both names and the year and the word "obituary" into your favorite search engine and see what pops up.
How much information you have on a person or in a profile has absolutely no connection to its likelihood of being fake/false or not. All you have about me is my name. I can assure you I am not fake/false despite that being all you have.
