Removing a tree listing.
very new here. Accidentally listed my mother as the father of my father instead as spouse. How do I correct this. Can I remove all my entries and start my tree over? I prefer to start over. Wonderful service here. Thanks.

i completely jumped in without doing any research on how to use this genealogical site. It is fantastic but I made so many mistakes I need to delete everything and start over. Is this possible? I am a senior wanting to know my family before it is too late. Thanks for any help.

I recommend that you do not start over. To correct the mistake of listing your mother as the father of your father, you can remove or replace the incorrect spouse relationship. You can do this by going to the person’s page in Family Tree, clicking the pencil icon next to the marriage facts, and selecting either "Remove" or "Replace." If you prefer to start over, note that FamilySearch does not provide an option to delete your family tree entirely, as it is a collaborative tree. Instead, you can make corrections and attach sources to support your changes.
Here is a help article that will help you fix the relationship with your Mother and Father relationship.

Thank you for your inquiry. Since you are just starting in FamilySearch, I would like to direct you to some help and learning resources that have helped me in my FamilySearch journey. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/landing Click this link to go to Help and Learning. To find it again, go to the FamilySearch landing page, look at the top right, and you will find these icons: the question mark in a circle is the help icon. When you click that icon, you will be taken to Help and Learning. You can enter a question into the search box. The help resources have helped me so much the past 10 years I have been searching for my ancestors and putting families together in my tree.
