Reporting issues with census indexing
Sometimes a search result sends you to an image where the indexing is slightly off. I usually just create my own source that takes you to the correct image. It makes attaching it to the tree a pain, but it's my work around. However, I recently had this happen and I was not finding the person on nearby pages. I also noted that there were way more people indexed than are on the actual census page. This is the 1840 census page in question (the search result is for WD Henry and links to page 159/image 327)
After looking for a while, I clicked on the indexing entry for WD Henry and found it actually cites source page 308 not 159. So I scrolled to that page in the census, and I found his name on the actual document but also discovered that there are no names associated with that page.

It appears that the names that should be associated with page 308 are listed on the page for 159 by mistake. How do I report something like this?

On every page, such as the ones you linked above, there is a Feedback button to report problems. There is also a relatively new option for reporting problems: the Records Issue reporting form. You'll find the description at the top of the Search category.
