Enable Multiple Screens auto enabled how to fix?

Hello, the multiple screens feature is enabled on FamilySearch settings. I did not turn it on, nor do I even use that feature. I noticed it was turned on today for no apparent reason, and I disabled it, yet when I exited the app and went back into it, the enable multiple screens feature was enabled again. I even disabled it, logged out, and logged back in just to find it was reenabled. There is also no feedback button to let the team know that this is likely a bug that needs to be fixed. I do not use this feature; I do not need it on. So what can I do?

Thank you for your report. In order to track down the source of the problem, it would help if you would share which FamilySearch Tree mobile app you are using: the iOS or Android version? It could also help to know the exact version number (which you can find under Help > About).

Once you have provided this information, we can pass this report on to the mobile team.

One other clarification: in the app, you can always provide feedback by going to Help (on the More menu for iOS, or on the main menu for Android) and then under Contact Us, choose Give App Feedback. The mobile team welcomes your feedback.

I'm trying to reproduce the issue that you reported but so far haven't been able to. Do you remember any other details about what you were doing in the app before you noticed the multiple screens feature was enabled? Did you come into the app through an email link? Did you long press any names to open person details? Anything else you can remember that might give us some more context?

I was using the iOS app normally when I first was using it, it was fine then I closed the app because it wouldn’t let me put an obit which I fixed after going to the browser and seeing it was a character issue then I went back to the app and used it normally then closed it out accidentally and reopened it and noticed that there was a weird bar on the bottom I’ve never seen before and went to Reddit where a kind commenter said what it was and tried to help me, they pointed me to posting my question here after the troubleshooting did not work and the multiple windows won’t stay disabled after disabling it multiple times as I said in my question.

I've got a fix for your issue that will go out in the next release. Once it goes out, you'll need to go and turn off the multi-screen option one last time and then it shouldn't turn on again. Thank you for letting us know about the issue.
