help me understand what I am looking at
I am looking at the record G7BX-4KY (Joseph Lawrence Berumen)
I don't understand what I am seeing in the Family Member section at the bottom of his record there is a section called Spouses and Children. In this section of his own record Joseph Lawrence is listed as a child of himself. He also appears in the Spouses and Children section alongside a person who is his paternal grandmother. To me this doesn't make sense. Can someone help and explain what is going on here? Has some incorrect linking happened?

Joseph is not listed as a child of himself.
The lefthand side refers to Joseph, his "spouse", and their children (if any).
The righthand side shows Joseph's parents at the top plus all his parents' children - which will, of course, include him. It would perhaps be more obvious if Joseph had any siblings, because you would then see a full list of children.
As for Adelaida being his paternal GM, not his wife, you need first of all to check if Adelaida is indeed in the position of his paternal GM in FS FamilyTree.
So select the profile for Joseph and call up the landscape family tree centred on Joseph.
When that comes up, it shows an Adelaida in the position of Joseph's paternal GM. Not just that but it's the same Adelaida profile in both positions (J's spouse and GM) (GZQ5-VBM). There is (correctly) a red exclamation mark saying that she is in the pedigree in more than one place.
So, you need to break the relationship between Joseph and Adelaida - you can probably do this from either Joseph or Adelaida. My preference is to go to the profile for Adelaida because that way you can easily check that she is still OK after her break, but it probably doesn't matter much either way.
So, go to her profile, scroll down to her relationship with Joseph, hit the pencil icon by that relationship and look for the Delete Relationship icon down at the bottom. I think that you can work it out from there.
Check Adelaida's profile is OK at the end, and check Joseph's as well.
