Read Handwriting

Can anyone read this handwriting? This is my great grandmother writing a note to my grandmother for her birthday.

I know who signed it. I know some of the words, but other words are more difficult.

did Ruth get her card. Did weather goes

against me but hope it soon will cange (probably change)
