Hi @lesliechapman1. The issue is that the person of record and the tree person are misaligned. I've gone ahead and made the amendments for you, but for future reference the process would be as follows:

First detach the incorrectly attached record. In this case Sue A Adams (left column) from Jessie Louise Miller (right column).
(In this case all of the entries for Jessie's children were attached to her profile. I've detached them. The goal is to have one to one matches of like vitals, (name, date and place of birth etc.))

Next in the left column in the blue bar select change person. Select the correct corresponding record entry. In this case Jessie L Adams. This will correctly align the individual in the tree with the individual on record. (If the person of record is correct but you want to change the tree person, this process can be undertaken by doing the same in the right hand column).

Go ahead and attach.

I've left the children that aren't already in the tree unattached for two reasons.

Firstly, as they were all born between 1944 and 1950 it's very possible they are still living. If they're your direct family you might be better placed to know if this is the case.

Secondly, Jessie Louise Miller and Herbert Rex Adams divorced in 1945, and in this 1950 census record she is listed as the wife of Herbert's brother, Leslie Ray Adams. So it's possible the younger children are Leslie's. This particular census record doesn't differentiate between children and step-children, so without further investigation it's impossible to know.
