New Zealand, Civil Records Indexes, 1800-1966 - Recent deaths only display the year of birth
Since mid-1972, the New Zealand civil death registrations have recorded the date of birth (where it is known), and this is displayed on the New Zealand BDM website. It is also included in FS's New Zealand, Civil Records Indexes, 1800-1966 collection. However, when the source is being attached or the profile's sources are displayed, only the year is shown in the header for the source. Here is an example; I have clicked on the Birth • 2 Sources link on the profile's detail tab.
Can the display in the source heading be amended to show the full date where it is available?

Here's the underlying birth data (below).
At creation time the PR_BIR_DATE (including the standardised value) looks to have been set to the full date. Unfortunately some dodgy FS bot (not a human, or it would be user-stamped) appears to have come along on 8th June and added the 1913 PR_BIR_DATE, which the Source Linker perhaps thinks is to be preferred as it was added later (?)

@MandyShaw1 Thank you for following this up. The timestamp on the collection (my time zone, I presume) is 9 Jun 2026. There have recently been numerous birth and death hints appearing for this collection; this may have started at about that time. Births from about 1895 to 1905 are frequent. Maybe the behaviour I am reporting is related to an addition of available sources to the collection on 8-9 June.
The source linker does seem to offer the full birth date when a death source is being attached. Here is an example from the source linker (the profile already has the matching date).
Once the source is attached, the list of tagged sources for the birth doesn't show the full date.
