Indexing of records found via Full Search Text
For about the past six months, after I would locate a given document image via Full Search Text (e.g., a probate record), I would be able to index the record and add all the names of the people listed within a given record and select their respective relationships, etc.. When the record was attached to the involved individuals, it would include in the record an image of the document. Further, the process would also add the record to all of the identified household members.
About two weeks, this option (for me) simply went away. Now, when identify a non-indexed document via Full-Text Search, when I click on the button to "Attach to person in Family Tree", it provides the old process to attach a non-indexed record to an individual's family tree. Has the option to index these records been discontinued, or is there someway to restore this indexing on the fly process for individual records for me?
Personally, the "indexing on the fly" process, although not perfect, was a great improvement over the old process of simply attaching a non-indexed record to a given individual's family tree.

The capability for indexing the record from Full-Text Search, adding relationships and details, is still available, but it has been moved. For a while, this powerful but quite complicated workflow was part of the "Attach to person in Family Tree" flow. Based on user feedback and careful observation of usage patterns, the indexing flow has been separated from the attaching flow and moved to the Names tab.
Attaching a Full-Text Search record to a person in Family Tree
When you click Save Record and then Attach to person in Family Tree, the flow is now simpler, focused on simply attaching the record with its associated image to the person in Family Tree. You simply describe the source record (title, date, notes), select a person to attach it to, optionally select household members, and provide a reason statement. This returns this flow to the way it worked several months ago before the indexing flow was added. Now that the simpler attachment flow has been restored, many more people are successfully attaching full-text search images to people in Family Tree. Here's an example:

This indexing functionality is now available on the Names tab (it's no longer included in the Save Record/Attach flow). There you can view (and update) indexing that has already been done for this image, and also do new indexing for the image. This includes record details, person details, household structure with relationships, events, and additional facts. It allows you to use the Source Linker to attach the record to a single person in the Family Tree or to an entire family. Here's an example:
These changes are noted in the popup that was shown in some cases, but not everyone saw it, and even those who saw it generally only saw it one time:

Unfortunately, it does not seem to work as extensively as it did before. I was able to add names, when the workflow was part of "The attach to person in family tree" flow, to a lot of images from Italian image collections. Now I can only add names on already indexed images (indexed with the old method), while pages never indexed before do not show any 'Add names" button.

@Sgemme I see that you are using the website in Italian. It appears that the new experience on the Names tab is not yet available in Italian. I've tried a few different languages, and only in English (with the updated look turned on) do I have the full indexing experience on the Names tab. I'm sure that translations will be done at some point, but I'm sorry to report that at this point you are only able to do this in English.
