Have never known who my father was, mother refused info. Had DNA test looks as if I have a 1/2 broth
he also does not know his father however his DNA tell him his lifelong father was not his biological father. Although I believe I know (about 85% certain) who my father was ( now deceased). How do I go about resolving when there is not a lot of cooperation with the family my DNA tells me, and my new discovered 1/2 brother is the correct father.

You might find records here that line up with (or against) suspicions, but at the end of the day they are just paper (albeit digitized), and may not be accurate or in agreement. Sometimes, the conflicts can help tell the story; sometimes, it's all silence on the points you care about.
Without family cooperation or genetic testing of the suspected father (or his known close relations), resolution may simply not be possible.0 -

@Grady Collier I was able to figure out who my mom's birth parents were using DNA. I got a lot of help from FamilyLocket.com and YourDNAGuide.com. Some of their classes are not cheap, but they do offer some inexpensive helps and Family Locket has a large blog and a free podcast. Good luck on your DNA journey!
