Simple instructions on how to navigate the site?

Is there any place where I can get simple instructions on how to navigate the site. I have managed to add all my immediate family. On some pages I see all, but then on other pages not everyone is shown. In some pages I can add children, in others I can't. Apparently I have added duplicates; don't know how I did that. I just find this site extremely hard to navigate. I didn't think I was a dumb person but I must be!

@Linda90320 Another place to start is here: https://thefhguide.com
FamilySearch can be an intimidating website because it contains so much but don't let that stop you. Part of your trouble with feeling overwhelmed is that the same information can be presented in so many ways and most tasks can be accomplished at least three different ways. This allows users to find a work flow that works best for them. So do take you time and just stare at stuff. I generally encourage people new to the site who want to get familiar with the Family Tree portion to just pick a Profile page and click on absolutely every thing you can see going square millimeter by square millimeter and see what happens because something will happened almost anywhere you click, even on a lot of what looks to be just white space.

@Linda90320 @Gordon Collett has given you two great links to help you learn. I promise it will be worth your time! The more you get into FamilySearch the more you will learn and the more you will retain. I am speaking personally here, as my memory isn't what it used to be. LOL!
