Do you have profiles for them in the FamilySearch tree?

@Áine.ní.Donnghaile is right, we would need more information. Also, the thing with German research that I remember is that you need to figure out what town they were born in before you do research in Germany. The FamilySearch Research Wiki is a great resource for all things genealogy and they have a page "Germany Genealogy" that may be helpful. Also, there is a Germany Research community page that may be helpful as well.
