Hello everyone,

I am trying to locate the birthplace of my ancestor, Abram Icek Feldman, and I need to view his marriage records from Końskie, Poland. Unfortunately, the microfilms are locked for home viewing.

If anyone is visiting a Family History Center or has affiliate library access, I would be incredibly grateful if you could download the images for the following two records:

Record 1 (1870):

  • Town: Końskie, Poland
  • Year: 1870
  • Record Type: Jewish Marriages (Akta małżeństw)
  • Akt / Record Number: 25
  • Groom: Abram Icek FELDMAN
  • Microfilm Number: 1192422

Record 2 (1859):

  • Town: Końskie, Poland
  • Year: 1859
  • Record Type: Jewish Marriages (Akta małżeństw)
  • Akt / Record Number: 34
  • Groom: Abram Icek FELDMAN
  • Microfilm Numbers: 716416

Thank you so much in advance for your time and assistance!

Hi, I understand how helpful those images can be for your research. Unfortunately, Please do not request for others to provide or share restricted images from FamilySearch or other custodial entities through our FamilySearch Community. These restrictions are in place to honor agreements and other laws. Copyright issues may be involved.

If you’re able to visit a FamilySearch Center or an authorized affiliate library, or partner organization you may be able to access them there.

If not, I have seen members of the community offering to give you an index of the documents the next time they go and that seems to be acceptable. Unfortunately, I don't live near a FamilySearch Center. Good luck!

    @אוסנת

I was at my FamilySearch Center yesterday, and I made a serious effort to find the records you need. I'm not fluent in Polish, but I can usually manage to locate records even in those languages I don't speak.

I'm sorry I didn't have better luck. I would have been happy to extract what I could.

You may also want to try to find some suggestions for finding the records in the Community Group for Poland. https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/157-poland-research. This group is familiar with Polish records and where they are located. They be able to help you locate the records, or have other suggestions of where to look. Good luck with your search.
