@Gilbert4197 Do you have the ID number of the person you want to edit? Usually You'd follow these instructions.
Editing the Brief Life History on the Website
- Sign in to FamilySearch and open the Family Tree.
- Navigate to the ancestor's person page and click on the Details tab.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Brief Life History section.
- Click Edit (or click Add Brief Life History if the field is currently blank or overwritten).
- Clear out the broken HTML text, type or paste the corrected text into the box, add a brief reason statement explaining your change, and click Save
If you can provide the ID number I'll go try to duplicate what your wanting to do.
Have a great evening.

@lindsayanngermer1 Am I missing something here? My understanding is that the Brief Life History is just a plain textbox. If you write or paste HTML code into it, all you end up with is HTML code.

I think the OP may have meant a link, not actual HTML markup, so being able to edit the text (as indicated by @lindsayanngermer1) should hopefully do the trick. @Gilbert4197 if you still don't have what you need please post again.

If @Gilbert4197 was talking about a link, a URL, which no longer exists, it would be worthwhile checking whether the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine contains an archived link, which could be substituted. https://web.archive.org
