Moving sources from one ID to another
Is there an efficient way to move a large number of sources from one ID to a different ID?
Several times I have encountered a situation where there is a family with a large number of sources attached to the parents, but one of the parents is the wrong person. While the wrong person can be replaced with the correct person, the sources stay with the incorrect person. Is there a more efficient way to transfer the sources instead of moving them one source at a time using the source linker?

Not that I have ever run across. It's a one at a time process.
Now you might have someone come on here and suggest turning that wrong person into the right person, but that will generally cause far more problems and cause far more work to repair those problems down the road that just moving the sources. Please do not do this.

I use a pair of 32-inch monitors and take full advantage of the screen landscape, plus the split screen option in Chrome or Firefox.I open one profile with its sources on one side and the other on the other side, and detach from the "wrong" profile and attach to the "correct" profile. Once everything is set up, the process is pretty easy and quick.

Thank you for your responses. I agree that changing the vitals of the wrong person is not correct and can potentially create a mess. Also, fixing it by merging the two ID's is equally wrong, they are two different individuals. One source at a time, I guess.
