Inaccurate locations

Does anyone in the community know if there are procedures to fix inaccurate locations?

Find a grave has many errors in the indexed information. Is there a way to fix that?

    The issue with Findagrave locations is well known and in the hands of the Engineers for repair.

    I've just been manually retrieving the correct location when the indicated one looks wrong. Texas instead of Alabama, Washington instead of South Carolina, Canada instead of Ohio…

    I figured it was all due to someone gleefully going through the Verify Places queue and picking the first thing on the list.

    Fortunately, the "source" will show the correct location, making it easy to copy and paste into the vitals burial field. But it is irksome. If you don't do that, the wrong place location will remain. I suspect AI is doing this… :-)
