Manually expanding my tree
Hello. I spent a long time expanding my tree back to 350 BC by manually expanding the arrows at each generation. Is there a one-click solution to this?
I'd like to set up a process to individually research over time using the geneology list.

At this time, FamilySearch does not offer a one‑click option to automatically expand every generation in the tree view. The system requires users to open each generation manually using the arrows. I know that can be time‑consuming, especially when you’re working many centuries back.
The current design limits auto‑expansion to help manage loading speed and performance, particularly for very large trees. You’re welcome to add this as a feature request in the “Suggest an Ideas” section, but for now, manually expanding each generation is the only available method.

I believe any encouragement to examine one generation at a time is a positive thing.
Too many researchers have their sole aim as getting back as far as possible in recording their genealogy, whereas there is generally a flaw at some stage when finding a line that could possibly go back as far as the 350 BCE in your example.
The other point is that there will be diverging branches right from the start, but I assume you are referring to tracing one path (possibly the paternal one - father's, father's father, etc.).
I think I would be primarily concerned in establishing firm evidence for the integrity of your "tree" before a wish to be able to view a pedigree that (with respect to your personal efforts) might include research carried out by a fraudulent genealogist. Examples of this have been highlighted on this forum many times in the past, so one has to be very doubtful of the historical evidence of any line that goes from this century to beyond, say, the year 1000 CE.
