I am having issues with the Decendency page running out of memory after using the seventh generation
I am having issues with the Decendency page running out of memory after using the seventh generation fan chart. If I set in tools 2 generations the decendency chart comes up but as I open up the family names about half way the Decendency plot locks up and I am sent to an Error 500 page. If I try to open immediately to 4 generations, the decendency page goes to "the wheel of death" icon and never opens and eventual goes to the Error 500 page. This phenomena has started two weeks ago and up until then has worked for the last 7 years without a problem.

@ThalmanRayDean I have tried over and over again, but not able to reproduce your issue. Do you have any other memory issues on your computer?
If possible, please provide:
- The PID of the ancestor you are viewing in the Descendancy chart
- The number of generations you selected in the Tools menu
- Approximately how far down the chart you were able to expand before the page froze
- Whether you were using the Fan Chart → 7 Generations immediately before opening the Descendancy view
- The browser and device you are using
This information will help us determine whether the issue is related to a specific tree structure, a browser memory limitation, or a recent change in how the Descendancy view loads large data sets.

This sounds to me like a data problem relating to the specific part of the Tree involved. Perhaps there is a loop, or a profile with an unusual number of child/parents relationships, or /something/ that is causing the back end programming to throw a wobbly. Can you provide an example profile that shows the problem please?
