Nearly every day, I receive notifications of multiple new comments on the thread.

This one, today, 8 July 2026, at 5:53 pm, Eastern US.

I did not participate in that thread when it was open. I do not have it bookmarked to follow.

    And just now, a day later, still with no activity (of course) on that closed thread, I received this notice:

    I am not sure if this issue is related to what you experienced or not.

    At least a year ago I unsubscribed to ALL FS notifications - however I will still get bell notifications every day. I have cleared Bookmarks and cache several times without success. When I go to my profile in Community and then selecting “Notifications” from the menu in the lower left corner it brings up hundreds of Community Threads. It appears that they are mostly from the “General Question” group.

    I could have been clearer. I meant clearing cookies and cache, regarding My Bookmarks in Community I still have quite a few marked. But the Bell Icon alerts I get are not related to these Bookmarks.
