Camille Joseph Braud 24 May 1823 – 9 February 1866•LDF6-RD7

Death record in Sources 1866 shows the wrong last name. It was incorrectly transcribed and needs to be corrected but when I click the pencil and try to correct the last name, it will not let me. I called FS Support and they couldn't do it either. There is an obvious problem with this program. Thank you for your help with this issue.

I was able to edit just now.
I had to edit the father's surname first, and then the principal.

Thank you for your help. I see you edited it. I would have never thought to change the father's surname first. Very odd. I wonder if it is a glitch or just the way the system functions. Thanks again!

I honestly don't know if that is how it is designed. I know on some genealogy websites we will see a warning when the child's surname does not match the father's. When I couldn't edit the child on the first try, I accessed the father's to see if I could change his. After I changed that one, I returned to the child, and I could change that one as well.
