I have encountered an issue that creates a loop in relationships. In one census the woman is listed as a sibling but in the next census record 10 years later she is listed as mother to her siblings. The following census after that, the children have her married last name and are listed as adopted. How do I correctly log this information?

    Creating such a family in the Beta site, I'm not getting any warning, complaints, or blocked actions. The program seems to handle this just fine:

    Where are you running into a problem? Is it when you are trying to attach the census sources? Occasionally I've seen a screen that warns about a potential problem with a pedigree but if I remember right, it can be clicked through and ignored.

    @LorettaFehringer
    Since the woman was listed in 3 censuses, and from your OP that she already had children in the 1st of those 3 censuses, it is fairly safe to assume she is deceased and her information is acceptable to be shared with the Community Forum.
    So that we can assist you, please share the Person ID number for the woman.

    I suspect there may be enumeration errors in the 1st census.
    However, without being able to view the censuses and other records for the woman and her children, all the Community can do is speculate as to the cause of the "looping" issue(s) and what solution(s) are applicable.
