Embedded URL in Safari

I am embedding url links into a string in a pdf that I have uploaded to Memories. It's a way to link to videos which are not supported by FamilySearch. I'm using Safari on a Mac. Safari does not open the link.

here's a screen print:

So I switched to Chrome, and the links worked.

So, has anybody seen this problem? I checked for any obvious Safari settings, but nothing popped out.

Unfortunately a Memory PDF with a URL link in it is likely to be deleted by FS as this is against the upload policy (https://www.familysearch.org/en/legal/familysearch-upload-guidelines-and-policies).

You could archive your PDF to e.g. archive.org and then add it to the profile as an external Source instead of a Memory.
