In FamilySearch.org, how do I create a User Tree?
I read that FamilySearch now offers a private tree option for researchers who prefer to build and manage their own tree separately from the collaborative Global Family Tree. I would assume that creating a User Tree would be found under "Manage Trees", but I don't see the option to create a User Tree. Is this a function that is being rolled out? When will it be fully rolled out? Is there a way to know when I'd see it in my account? Thank you!

Good afternoon @BenjaminKempner
The option to create a user tree is currently not available to all contributors. It is said to be coming soon, after some engineering work is complete.
You may want to join the feedback group to see any updates to the process.

I need an update on the timeline for User Trees. I just uploaded a GEDCOM to my husband's account with no problem. Non-members do not seem to have access to this feature. It was discussed at RootsTech and I have people who want to do this. It's non-members who are afraid to use the FamilySearch Tree and this is a good way to get them started and reduce their fear that someone will change "their" tree.

@Jamie Lee McManus Mayhew I'm not LDS, and I have access because I was an early participant in the Labs project. As noted at the top of this page, the Labs portion is complete, and development is continuing.
On another post, also above, a staff member replied,
We appreciate your interest about when user trees will be available to more users and preferably everyone. We are hoping it will be soon but do not have an estimate to share at this time.
