How to convert HEIC to JPEG before uploading photos into memories.

If you want all future photos to save as JPEG instead of HEIC:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings
- Tap Camera
- Tap Formats
- Choose Most Compatible
This makes your iPhone save new photos as JPEG instead of HEIC.
We cannot upload HEIC photos from Google into Memories. It is not compatible.
Android Phone
Samsung
- Open Camera
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Tap Picture formats
- Turn HEIF pictures OFF
→ All new photos will save as JPEG.
Google Pixel
- Open Camera
- Tap the down arrow → Settings
- Tap Advanced
- Turn HEIC/HEIF OFF
→ New photos will be JPEG.
