Hello, the birth record was for Katerine Rachel Hernandez Mejia. Initially I had noticed that the record may not have been indexed correctly as the father was listed as the grandparent. In this collection, I had seen several instances of this in other records, which is why I was inquiring about access to the collection so I could review and update errors as needed.

@Julia15603 This index shows the fathers name as Felipe Hernandez and mother as Maria Teresa Henandez Mejia. I do not see any mention of a grandfather in the index.

Understood, that’s the index not the original document which is unavailable. As I mentioned in my initial post I’m looking for access to the original because I don’t believe the index is correct. I have a list of about 25 other records in this collection where the grandparents are listed as the parents.

@Julia15603 - if that index record for Katerine is correct, then she was only born in 1996. The chances of such a recent birth having the full certificate (i.e. the original document) online are pretty slim. Note that the collection is only advertised as running up to 1968 in any case, though what that means is anyone's guess given that her index is online.
If FS doesn't have the full data, then you have to fall back on the government of the country concerned. I googled "access to vital records for Honduras" and saw that the Registro Nacional de las Personas (RNP), manages all birth, marriage, divorce, and death registries. There is, apparently, an app (SIN RNP) where "Honduran citizens can download free digital copies of birth certificates by scanning their National Identity Document (DNI)". This doesn't seem to be much use to you.
