Incomplete record hints
Recently I have noticed record hints for the 1891 Canadian census (among others) that only list the details of that individual and nothing about the family. With such incomplete information it is hard to know if it is the correct individual.
I don't want to say its not a match, but I also don't want to attach it in case it turns out to be incorrect.
All the census record hints in the past showed the whole family. this seems like a downgrade. Any idea if we can get it back?

These individual-only hints occur because FamilySearch indexes many historical censuses as individual entries rather than automatically grouping households. Because family connections aren't pre-linked in the search index, you must search and navigate manually to view the rest of the household. - Check the Household Sequence: The census enumerator recorded families sequentially. Note the Family Number, District, and Sub-District on your hint's index page. Manually browse the surrounding pages in the digital image viewer rather than relying only on the transcribed text. [1, 2, 3]
- Look at the Right Margin: Because only Schedule 1 survived, enumerators occasionally grouped or used ditto marks (") for families living at the same dwelling. [1, 2]
- Verify with Library and Archives Canada: For primary confirmation, you can check your ancestor's specific household in the Census of Canada, 1891 records provided by the government. [1, 2]
