I have a german great grandfather according to census was born in South Carolina 1781 and died in 1881
and buried in Hill's Creek Cemetery. Maybe there are two graves Father and son. The one I found is his son's born in 1815 but nothing for mine. My grandfather's name is John Bess and married Lucinda Kimberlin in 1818 in Blount County, Tennessee. I found a document showing a Jacob Boss was born 9 Dec 1781 and christening 17 Apr `1782 in Baltimore, Maryland . So maybe I am wrong but not too much 1731 date show up. I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you Karen Willeen Chatham Young.
