Boiano (Bojano), Italy Record Indexes

I have been working with records and families in the Boiano, Italy area. I recently came across an Indexing error….probably made by AI….I am assuming. This is the record collection in the catalog Registri dello stato civile di Bojano (Campobasso), 1809-1910

Film #007242851 (item 19) is for the year 1904 but the indexes for each of the records that I have reviewed list the year as 1894. I have looked for a way to correct the index but keep running in circles on the FS website. Is there a way to correct all the indexed records for that film number and item number????????

Hopefully the clip of the film and the clip of the index enclosed are enough to see the situation.

@Arleen Craig Ellis No, unfortunately there is not a way to edit the date for all the records on this film at the same time. The date can be corrected easily for each record using the edit function (pencil icon). Change the year in both the standardized date field and the year field:

While I understand that your original question was about correcting indexed information for a record you were researching, I thought it may help you in your further research to point you towards the location of those records where they are organzied rather well, and are unrestricted.

I haven’t used the Antenati in a couple of years. Looks like they reorganized it Looks like I will be using it more often. As will the patrons at our local FS Center

This new restriction on the use of Italian records is very frustrating. I hope at some point that decision is reversed.
