@Lo ïc Baert Your post seems to have been bounced around! Sorry about that!
I copied your questions and suggestions and will respond here:
- Have the possibility to add the second main person directly when the primary event concerns two people.
I remember discussing this in a previous thread, but I couldn't find it. The poster reported not being able to add a spouse with Marriage as the primary event. At that time engineering reported that they had not yet created the function to add the spouse. The workaround is what you did--create a persona for the spouse separately and then add relationship to the primary person. Both would be marked as primary. (If I hit a snag anywhere in the process, I close the record and reopen it. I can then edit/add people as I normally would in any index.)
2. Is it a known issue that the sites freezes after adding two people?
No, I have only seen it freeze when adding the spouse. Keep us posted if the behavior continues.
3. Show the names of the people that are linked to the primary event in every part of the process (the gray box when you are entering other events and in the event section when you are in a subsequent step).
Hmm… I think it’s only shown in marriage events to ensure the bride and groom are connected.
4. Being able to adjust the width to be able to see the full name of the household members.
You could suggest that in Feedback.
5. Add the option to change the main person directly when entering the source linker. Otherwise you need to go back and repeat the whole process of adding the household.
I tested this in Source Linker and as soon as I added a person from the Tree, I was able to change the person on the record. If you open Source Linker directly, it seems to use the last person added as the person you want to attach.
I hope I understood your points correctly. If not, come back and we'll try again.
