New indexing features on full text records
I noticed that when you open an image that has a full text transcript, there is a new workflow that allows you to create records an indexes based on the image. It seems to work well for single page documents, but not for records that span multiple pages. I tried to highlight all of the instances of a name in a will book, but couldn't select names across multiple images. Is there a way to make records spanning multiple pages? If not, are there plans to make that possible in the future?
I didn't see any mention of the new index editing features on the main "get involved" indexing page. I just stumbled on the feature while attaching an image to the tree. Is there documentation the new features anywhere? A guide to record types would be helpful. I was a little unclear whether a transcript of a family bible would be "family bible records" or "family bible extracts".

This feature is an update to the functionality of Full Text and is not part of Get Involved. It was designed as an alternative way to attach unindexed images and, and it's especially useful for documents that are hard to read, since it lets you provide accurate data for others who may struggle to transcribe the handwriting. For record type, choose the option from the dropdown that most closely matches the document — you're limited to what's listed there.
To add information across multiple pages:
1. Create the record using what you see on the first page, then close it.
2. Click "Names" to open the index.
3. From there, open a split-screen view and use "Manage Indexes" to add or edit information as you normally would.
