Attaching unindexed records: wrong links are created (same link for different images)
This morning I attached the following image to a person and the created citation is correct:
The problem lies with the link created to access the record. When you click on the link, you get the following image:
How is it possible that two different images have the same link:
I already mentioned it in my second post in the following discussion:
I thought it had something to do with the Full Text interface but apparently not.
Can someone look at this quite urgently? Should I stop attaching non-indexed records until this problem is solved?
Many thanks in advance

This error is a known issue that I have discussed with engineering. It doesn’t happen with every attachment or every collection. So far, it has only been seen in divided films—those with item numbers—and even then, it doesn’t occur in every instance.
There’s a quick test you can try before attaching a source: click back and forth between the Names tab and the Information tab. If the image remains the same, it will most likely attach correctly.
I’m sorry for the sources you’ve already attached that showed this error and will need to be reattached with the correct image. I’m hopeful we’ll have a fix before long. Thank you for sending your examples—they’ll be added to the ones we already have and may help engineering pinpoint the cause.
Regarding your linked thread about creating households from multiple images, I responded to that question in this thread (found in Get Involved category but doesn't belong there):

Thank you for your clear explanation. What do I need to do if the test fails? How can I attach in those cases the correct image?
Where do I need to send other examples? Is there a special discussion?

@Loïc Baert I don't know of any other discussions in Community on this issue. It was discovered after investigating a couple of Feedback reports.
If the test fails, try setting the viewer to Item Number only and test again. You could also switch to the Full Text viewer and attach from there. Again, apologies for the inconvenience.
