Burial Location incorrect on FamilySearch record, but it's correct on FindaGrave - can't edit

Thank you in advance for the help! If the answer is here or on FamilySearch help, I wasn't able to find it for this specific case.

On this FamilySearch record, Lyle's burial location isn't correct, and the list of edits is very long, but I'm unable to edit the record, myself.

The associated record at FindAGrave is correct, so there's nothing to edit there. What do I need to do?

That list of many instances of Bethel Cemetery is evidence that the change to the place, on FamilySearch, is the result of a place standardization issue. The problem has been widely reported, and the FS engineers have been working on a global fix.

@AmyBliss3 - just for your information… You refer to a "list of edits". That's what a list of edits would look like if multiple edits had been done - however, I'm as certain as I can be after a 30y career debugging software (when you look for oddities) , that in this case the list doesn't contain manual edits that anyone did - rather I believe that these are the various values that have been popped out of the automatic place standardisation algorithm. I don't remember if anyone's ever confirmed this but it might reassure people to know that there wasn't a real person trying every Bethel Cemetery in the USA. People aren't quite that weird. Usually…

That's why I was so lost! It looks like something automatically populating, but with FindAGrave being correct, and knowing people aren't generally that obtuse, but being unable to edit even though I could see edits...

I'm normally great at technical troubleshooting, it's been part of my job forever, but this one had me stuck.

    Thank you for your input!

@Adrian Bruce1 I recall a thread where the ever-helpful SerraNola commented that the long list did not indicate that all those edits had been made. Rather, those many "Bethel Cemetery" listings are the places the algorithm considered before it decided (incorrectly) where to assign the record.

Thanks - I couldn't remember anyone authoritative agreeing with me but if you remember SerraNola saying that, then it must be so!

I'm paraphrasing from memory, of course, but I'm fairly certain that was the meaning.
