@Cedrus Libani @MandyShaw1 I moved this portion of your post to Family Tree as a separate discussion.

Some time ago I created 4 family trees in my private paid for Family Tree software. To my surprise and horror I recently discovered these trees in the Genealogies Resource File database and promptly deleted them. I received a message that they were deleted. I then deleted the new GEDCOM tree that I recently created but got no confirmation that it was deleted. Would you please explain how these 4 private trees got moved from my private and paid for Family Tree Maker subscription into the Family Search’s Genealogies section without my permission. Would you please confirm that my private GEDCOM file has indeed been deleted or is it being kept in storage and at some future time to be added in the Genealogies section.

@Cedrus Libani FamilySearch cannot drive software (or access data) that is local to the user's computer, but it is possible that FTM has used one of the FamilySearch APIs (in this case it would have been the Genealogies API) to upload the information, or that it has somehow automated the upload of a gedcom. In either case you would have needed to be signed in to FS from the FTM application. Either way I'm afraid you definitely need to raise this with FTM, not FS.
(This is all assuming you are 100% certain no user of your computer has at some point exported the trees as gedcoms from FTM and uploaded them manually to FS Genealogies (maybe as backups?) which would be a pretty standard course of events.)

I have logged out of Family Search in Family Tree Maker, perhaps this caused the problem. No other user has access to my computer to export my trees. Thank you for your help.

@Cedrus Libani I would agree with Mandy's assessment. I don't have more than a mild working acquaintance with Family Tree Maker software, but I did a search of their support site and it indicated that the only way that it works directly with FamilySearch is through an individual linking/syncing method. So if you had Gedcoms uploaded, you must have inadvertently done so yourself. Perhaps a number of years ago! Or even just recently; just before you gained access to the new User Trees. I know that those Gedcoms include the date of upload, but now that you've deleted them, I don't think you can tell when they were uploaded. For the Gedcom tree that you created, you will need to ask questions in the User Tree Feedback group. (I see that you have been in there.)
The message
you don’t have any trees uploaded to Genealogies yetthat you asked about in the User Tree group shows up because you deleted all of your Gedcoms. To all intents and purposes, you have nothing uploaded to Genealogies. Which is what you wanted…correct?
Do remember, that even if you uploaded a Gedcom to Genealogies, no one could delete or edit your trees in any way & all living individuals would be hidden as well. Those rules automatically apply to all Gedcom uploads as well as the new User Trees.
I personally love the new User Trees to figure out knots of people whose profiles are not clearly distinct that keep getting confused with other profiles in FamilySearch Tree. I have been hearing lots of other ways that people use them as well.
Good luck in your research!
