Making changes in Family tree
I have been using this program since it became available and there have been many changes many have been very helpful and some have made my search more difficult. I work mainly in England. I now see that on marriage registrations it is not showing the name of the spouse or just the surname. It makes it almost impossible to figure out the correct spouse. Before it often showed a number of possible spouses which with a great deal of effort I was often able to figure out the correct spouse. Please go back to having the name of the spouse.
And I am seeing that on birth registrations it is listing the death year as the same as the birth year. I then have to delete that wrong death year. Before on birth year registrations it listed possible month range which was very helpful. Please change it back.
If I who have been doing family search for 60 years find it bothersome and hard to find someone how much more difficult it has to be for people just starting out?
Thank You Barbara Aylett

You'll find several threads about the current issue with England and Wales civil registration indexes. The problem has been reported, and a fix is well underway.

@Barbara Aylett The death year has been removed from Birth Registration (except for possibly a few stragglers in search results).
Can you provide an example of spouses not displayed in Marriage Registrations? I was not able to reproduce that error.
Thank you for your patience as we work through other problems with our civil registration collections. I hope it will not be too much longer before we can provide answers.
