I can't find the year 1840 for births in Wola Gołego Poland (now called Wola Baranowska). Film
#948425, Image Group number 8024398 is meant to have it (Births 1801-1840), but births from that one village appear to be missing. I looked in Film #948426, Image Group Number 8024397, which picks up at 1841, but it appears not to be there either.
Anybody have any idea where I can find this group of records? I am looking for the birth of a specific person, Marianna Bialek, on 21 June 1840 in this village.
Thank you!

The Catalog record for Image Group number 8024398 is https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/catalog/koha:348065 and it says Mikrofilm zrobiony z rękopisów w Archiwum Państwowe w Warszawie. Google Translate says "Microfilm made from manuscripts in the State Archives in Warsaw".
The microfilm possibly contained all that was available. You could check with the State Archives in Warsaw, but it is possible that the data you are looking for is not there. Perhaps for some reason that year was lost, or insects ate it, or it was water damaged.

The Polish Archives website lists 1850 as the earliest records in their collection.

Thanks, both. I am aware of other sites, too, like Skanoteka, fotolubgens.lubgens.eu, Geneteka, but I am not finding that village for that year. I thought maybe someone else had run into this. The specific book itself on LDS is a dog's breakfast - years missing, some years grouped together. Some villages missing. Some parts of pages eaten by bugs. I know how hit or miss it is; I just thought maybe someone had run into the same problem and had found it elsewhere. I'll keep this active for a while in case someone else comes knows. Thanks
