Simeon D. Ostrom and siblings vs half-siblings
While making changes to my family tree, I notice that my great uncle is listed as one of 15 children. In fact, most of the children listed as brothers and sisters are actually half-siblings. Can this be corrected, and if so, how? He has only 4 sisters, and the others are all half-siblings. The others are with subsequent wives.

Your screen shot is apparently from a tree on Ancestry.com, but it looks like FamilySearch Family Tree has similar information. When I visit Simeon D. Ostrom's father Simeon Charles Ostrom, I see the same layout for three wives, one with 5 children, one with 6, and one with 4, for a total of 15 children. I'm not seeing any place on Family Tree that the 15 children are all grouped together — they seem to always be grouped under their respective mothers, which is showing appropriate distinct sibling and half-sibling relationships.
If you're seeing some other place where the 15 children all seem to be grouped together, rather than in three separate groups, it would be helpful if you could provide a URL and/or screen shot to help us understand what you are seeing.
