Should I index christ?
This is less of an actual question and more a manifestation of my need to voice my comfortability with how to handle this. Cause choosing 'unsure' could lead to just another person having to face the issue, but choosing 'not a person' just doesn't feel right.
Just to be clear, it specifically mentions 'christ my savior', and is not referencing a name that was born anywhere near the time this was published.

@AnthonyHopkins5 - I may be misunderstanding your scenario, but my view is that indexing is about providing pointers to the people who are the direct subject of the genealogical record on the screen in front of you. I cannot envisage any genealogical record in the possession of FamilySearch where Jesus Christ is the direct subject and therefore the only valid choice on that screen is "Not A Person". Yes, it's a bit off in any overall context, but I contend that the full version of the text should be "Not A Person Of Genealogical Relevance To This Record".
Similarly if someone lives in George Washington Road, then George Washington is "Not A Person".
It may help to step back and imagine how human indexers would have handled that scenario. We don't, for instance, have millions of index entries for Saint Mary, just because there are thousands of churches dedicated with her name.
I await comments with interest!

@Adrian Bruce1 Thank you!!!! I totally agree -" indexing is about providing pointers to the people who are the direct subject of the genealogical record on the screen in front of you" and its exactly why its so important to read at least a sentence of the document - even when you're "speeding" thru FNR❤️

@Adrian Bruce1 Thank you, I really needed that perspective. While the answer is too verbose to put on the button (And would cause other problems if they put it on anyway), It has helped me to see the 'not a person' button in a light that makes it not awkward in the slightest.
