Attach unindexed record to parents-in-law
Is there a possibility to attach via "Attach to tree" a record to a groom, bride and both set of parents without having to pass through the source box? When I select the groom i am able to attach it to his parents and the bride but not his parents-in-law.

To answer your specific question, "Is there a possibility to attach via "Attach to tree"…
The attach images tool works the same for all record types, so it doesn't specifically handle marriage records differently. It is designed to display immediate family members which of course would exclude in-law parents. You could simply perform a second attach and select the wife’s father.
In addition to the above suggestions, you may want to attach unindexed records by creating your own record in Full Text. The advantage is that you have a record with clean, accurate, and complete data to attach to the tree, rather than just an image that may or may not be easy to read.
If you haven’t yet tried this tool, you first need to change the viewer to Full Text. If there is no link at the top of the image a fast workaround is to change the word “index” in the URL to “fullText” (lowercase except for the T).
Once you are viewing the image in Full Text, click “Save Record”, then “Attach to Person in Family Tree”, then “Add Name”.
Fill in the information as though you were indexing the record, clicking Next to add more names and events. Give it a try!

Yes, it can be done, but it’s not the most ideal approach. You can copy the URL of the record, create a new source, and paste the link into the appropriate field. Just keep in mind that this method won’t bring over any of the record details—it will only show the URL.
The Source Box was designed to store the full record so you can easily reuse it for multiple individuals. It really is the most reliable and complete way to attach sources.

When RecordSeek is functioning, you can attach a record to multiple profiles without using the Source Box. I prefer using the Source Box for the reasons Mazy stated.
RecordSeek is working again. It was down a few days ago.

Hi, you could attach the record using the 'other relationships' section of the person page. It's a really useful way to record everyone on a document to each person.
Here is a useful link explaining it more fully:
I hope this helps to answer your question. If it does, can you please mark the 'question answered' box next to the question heading.

@SerraNola Thank you for your answer, I was unaware this option existed. How can I change the viewer interface to FullText permanently?
What relation type do we need to use for a deceased spouse when they remarried again?

It's funny that I had made myself a note to suggest to engineering that they add "Deceased Spouse" to the list of relationships, so we are thinking along the same lines. The only option now is "Spouse", which is confusing when the names of both spouses are listed. It's the same problem when the name of a "former spouse" is on the record.
As for using viewers, our updated image viewer is the designated link from Search, Images, and Catalog, but engineering is working hard to have Full-Text working together with other parts of FamilySearch. The addition of links from the viewer to Full-Text (and vice versa) and from Catalog is part of that effort.

Thank you for your feedback. Where can I leave feedback concerning adding new people? The problem lies with people that are not the primary person. After adding their name, you need to click on next and then go back to the household view and click again on their name to add the relation in the household. Otherwise you need to specify for them also a primary event.
