Errors on Irish marriage record
Hi,
I found this marriage record while browsing and it’s full of nonsensical words / letters, so hoping a moderator may be able to edit it?
I checked the original microfilm to find the correct details, but unfortunately couldn’t see a marriage (or any other) record for this date / parish.

I note with some concern that this record "is available because a volunteer indexed it for you". Given that the text looks like someone has just trampled across the keyboard, my suspicions are raised.
The John Grenham site refers to the RC church of Kilkee in Kilfearagh civil parish, Kilfeary, Kilkee, Co. Clare. It indicates that there are baptisms, but there is no indication of whether there are any marriage records. Given the garbage already there (the couple are "Bcie Niug" and "Onduri Nidu"), I have no confidence that the placename is correct either, so I have no appetite to wade through what is potentially liquid manure.
If anyone can navigate this lot to disentangle what's going on, I guess we'd all be grateful. I certainly can't be as positive about this as I'm supposed to be…

@Adrian Bruce1 I made the same check using the NLI Registers site and reached the same conclusion.

@CatClaxton What a mess. I have forwarded it up the line to a specialist and am hoping for something that can be done.

@CatClaxton These are baptism records, not marriage records, and the baptism index is accurate. The index for marriages has been wrongly attached. This is a fairly common error and normally I would locate where the index belongs, but these gibberish entries are irrelevant. so I just deleted them.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention so it could be cleaned up.
