How do I search and view other specific account profiles?
I am trying to make contacts with some of my family who've made accounts. After playing around with the website and the mobile app I can't seem to figure it out. Is there something i am missing? Also I emailed a link to a family group but some can't access it at all and the ones that can don't see the progress I have already made. How could I fix this as well?

To search for and view other people on FamilySearch use the Find tool within the Family Tree menu.
You can find anyone who is deceased and has a profile in the shared public tree using these methods:
- Search by Name: Go to Family Tree > Find and enter the person's name and any known details like birth or death dates.
- Find by ID: If you have a specific Person ID (e.g., XXXX-XXX), select the Find by ID tab to go directly to their profile.
- Contact a Contributor: If you see a user's name tagged on a record or change, you can click their screen name to view a summary profile and send them a message
Once you find a person, you can view their detailed information and their place in the larger tree:
- Person Page: Click the person's name in the search results to open their profile, where you can view their About, Details, Sources, and Memories tabs.
- Pedigree View: From the person page, click Tree to see their ancestors and how they connect to the global tree.

- Living People: Profiles of living individuals are private and can only be seen by the user who created them.
- Family Groups: To collaborate on living relatives, you must join or create a Family Group, which allows members to see and edit a shared private tree for those specific individuals.
