have cleared cookies. Problem seems somewhat intermittent all morning. Refreshing page will sometimes help. Any reports of these problems this morning? Thank you

    I cleared all cookies and temporary files for all history. This seemed to help. We will see if it solves the issue. Thank you

    Alerts of an outage in FamilySearch Books have been coming in to engineering channels. I'm sure the matter will be addressed at the earliest opportunity, taking into account that today is Sunday and limited staff are available.

    We have had multiple tickets this afternoon about digital books not working properly. Can you give us an update?

    @karenrasmussen It was up and running yesterday, but not working for me right now. They're checking on it.

    I'm told they're making progress, but looks like it won't happen today.

    I contacted familysearch 2 weeks ago regarding the issues with accessing their catalog/books. Search buttons do not work. Keep getting page to "verify I'm human," program shuts down, pages take FOREVER to load. I'm beyond frustrated as the books I'm looking for are ONLY available through FamilySearch. I've never had this problem prior to two weeks ago. I've switched browsers, I've emptied my cache/browsing history/cookies, etc. I tried incognito mode (it was even worse!). Looked at what the other suggestions were and I've basically tried all of them. This happens whether I'm on my desktop or my laptop. One of the "error report" explantations said it was because of the recent security program familysearch added to their platform. Well it's secure okay because you can't access anything on it! The only solution I was provided when I contacted them was to leave a message on this message board. Not quite sure what good that will do unless someone has a fix I haven't found yet. Thanks.

    @Mary Rains

    I accessed this morning without too many issues. It is a slower search than a record search, but I suppose that is to be expected with a more complex search method.

    I just tried again, and the search was fairly quick, even with a partial title.

    It seems to be back up and running now. If it's down again on Monday I'll try to get an update on the problem.

    I was on there this morning and early afternoon. Looked like it was going to work, then stopped. Taking forever to load pages so even when I wait for them to load and then do a search, I get mixed messages - nothing found, instances found, then get a black page. Sometimes even reloading doesn't help. Very time consuming especially when I spend most of my time refreshing the page.
