    In the FamilySearch tree, we mostly edit connections if the profile doesn't belong. This Help Article may be useful:

    @Boss2987 I agree with @Áine.ní.Donnghaile, it’s usually a good practice to detach someone rather than to delete them, as they may just belong to a different part of the global tree. Occasionally, people show up as relatives when they were actually neighbors, witnesses or boarders. In those cases, you can use the “other relationships” feature to identify them. This preserves the record without claiming a biological connection.     @betsy123 A user can't delete a profile anyway unless they are the only contributor to it (they /can/ merge it into another profile, if they have sufficient evidence that the two represent the same person).
